Located at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, Disney’s Beach Club Resort is the closest resort to the Epcot theme park.
The Disney Vacation club expansion to the original resort opened in 2002. The Beach Club is connected with the Yacht Club Resort. While the Beach and Yacht Clubs are separate resorts each with their own lobby and check-in desks, the 2 resorts share common amenities including the pool and restaurants. The resort is popular for its location to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios as well as Stormalong Bay, a 3-acre pool.
Sandcastle Club is available for children aged 3-12 years old. Fun activities throughout the night to keep the children engaged and entertained.
Cost is $55 per child and covers the duration of the evening. Dinner is provided at 6pm and a snack at 10pm.
In-room care is offered to children ages 6 weeks to 18 years old with Disney’s recommended provider Kid’s Nite Out.
Yachtsman Steakhouse – Menu New England seafood and steak is the specialty. This is a Signature dining location and will require 2 table service dining credit per meal here if you are on the dining plan. Only serving dinner.
Cape May Cafe – Menu The restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is character dining with Mickey and the gang in their beach attire. Dinner is a seafood buffets with favorites such as : crab legs, mussels and clams.
Captain’s Grille – Menu Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a casual sit-down restaurant focusing on seafood and American dishes.
Beaches and Cream Soda Shop – Menu Casual dining featuring burgers and ice cream. This is a small location and quite popular by Walt Disney World veterans. Open for lunch and dinner.
Beach Club Marketplace – Menu Casual quick-service and grab-and-go items.
Hurricane Hanna’s Waterside Bar and Grill – Menu Casual quick-service and pool bar.
There is also room service available 24 hours per day
Disney’s Magical Express is available for free transportation between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and the resort.
Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, water parks, and Disney Springs use Disney bus service for your transportation. The negative is that these busses are typically shared between the Yacht Club, Swan, Dolphin, and Boardwalk resorts.
Epcot and Hollywood Studios transportation is via boat transportation.
Getting to Epcot is easily done via a 10 minute walk.
Hollywood Studios can easily be walked in 20-25 minutes.
There is no cost to park at the resort or theme parks as it is included in your resort stay.
Stormalong Bay is a 3 acre water activity area that is the main reason this resort is so popular. There are lazy rivers, slides, and sand bottom components.
The resort also offers 2 quiet pools.
There is Ship Shape Salon, Massage, and Fitness located at the Yacht Club Resort. This is a full service fitness center and offers spa services.
Spa treatments such as a variety of massages should be scheduled in advance by calling (407) WDW-SPAS or (407) 939-7727.
There is a variety of fun to have around the resort.
There are nightly campfires and movies by the pool.
Close by (next to Disney’s Swan Resort) is Fantasia Gardens and Fairways for some miniature golf fun for the family.
